TANHON offers standard and customized gearboxes tailored to customer needs. Our sales and technical teams consider customer requirements, industrial applications, operating conditions, and cost performance to recommend the best models and solutions.

TANHON offers air, sea freight, train, express, etc shipping methods. We will decide on the shipping method with our customers.

The payment term depends on the negotiation result between Tanhon and the customer.

  • The default payment term is 100% T/T payment for orders with amounts equal to or less than $2000.
  • For orders with amounts greater than $2000, we adopt the payment term of 40% deposit and 60% balance.

TANHON offers FOB price as default delivery item. If you don’t have freight forwarder in China, Tanhon can also provide you with CIF price.

Quality Control

According to the DIN1328 standard, our gear quality is Level 6.

We do profile grinding and cylindrical grinding of gears ourselves. Our factory has eight top-of-the-line precision gear grinding machines.

Tanhon machines gears and bodies on CNC machines.

We have CE, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 certificates.

Distributor and Agent

Certainly, the agency and distribution business is of great interest to us.

Before proceeding, please check if we have an exclusive agent in your country.

  • If an exclusive agent is present, you must contact them directly for business opportunities, as we are committed to protecting our agents.
  • However, if there is no exclusive agent in your country and you believe you have the capabilities to become one, we would be eager to discuss the potential for collaborating to develop the market in your region!
  1. The remittance ability. The distributors need to confirm that they have the ability to transfer remittances to TANHON’s account.
  2. The meeting. It is recommended to have a team meeting to get familiar with team members from each company and discuss about the collaboration details.
  3. Learn the product. We learn about the products through brochure, catalogs, social media, website, etc. Having better understanding of the product is the most important step.
  4. Get to know the product quality through samples. We suggest that it is better for our distributors to purchase some samples from us to confirm that you are satisfied with the quality and trust our brand. But it is not required if the distributors don’t want to purchase the sample.
  5. Distributor contract and certificates. If the distributors are satisfied with Tanhon and Tanhon Gearboxes, we will go through and confirm the distributors contract draft. With all the information confirmed, the contract will be signed by Tanhon and the distributor together.
  6. Marketing. Since the distributor will do the brand promotion, Tanhon will provide posts raw materials or some design elements for the distributor.
  7. Orders come at the end.

TANHON offers a 12-month warranty from the date of the package’s departure from China.

If the customer has problems, we can offer the following support:

  1. We provide the instructions in the package of gearboxes.
  2. if the instructions can not solve the problem, we offer remote guidance through meeting software like Zoom or through WA directly.
  3. If the remote guidance can not solve the problem, we will send our technical support team members to offer face-to-face help.

Trouble Shooting

In case of gearbox breakdown, refrain from disassembling the parts immediately. Instead, kindly reach out to the respective sales representative in our Foreign Trade Department. Please furnish the details indicated on the nameplate, such as gearbox specifications and serial number, duration of use, type of fault, and the quantity of affected units. Subsequently, proceed with the necessary actions.

The issue is likely caused by uneven meshing between gears or a damaged bearing. A possible solution is to inspect the lubrication and replace the bearings. Additionally, you can seek further advice from our sales representative.

Maintenance

  1. Ensure protection against rain, snow, humidity, dust, and impact.
  2. Use wood blocks or other materials to elevate the gearbox off the ground.
  3. For unused gear units that have been opened, apply anti-rust oil to their surfaces before returning them to storage promptly.
  4. If the gearbox has been stored for 2 years or longer, inspect cleanliness, mechanical integrity, and the presence of the anti-rust layer during regular check-ups.

Tighten the bolts on the gearbox surface and monitor the unit. If oil continues to leak, please reach out to our sales representative in the International Trade Department through [email protected].

After approximately 400 hours or 3 months of new gearbox usage, the lubrication should be replaced. Following this, the oil should be changed roughly every 4000 hours. It is important to avoid mixing different brands of lubricants. Ensure the gearbox housing contains an adequate amount of lubrication and conduct regular checks. If the lubricant is found to be degraded or the level has decreased, promptly replace or refill the lubricant.
